4 fantastic bets on the greatest soccer show
Time is running out fast to play TAB’s four fantastic bets on the greatest soccer show on earth. All four bets are guaranteed to deliver inflated payouts because TAB has added big bucks to each pool, but you must take your bets before the opening match of the tournament kicks off at 21:00 this Thursday, when betting closes.
The four bets are as follows:
* WIN = Predict the country to win the final outright.
* PLACE = Predict any of the four countries to reach the semi-finals.
* EXACTA = Predict the country to win the final outright and the runner-up in the correct order (tournament winner and losing finalist).
* QUARTET = Predict the top four countries in the correct order – tournament winner, runner-up (losing finalist), winner of the third-place playoff and the loser.
TAB has added R100,000 to each of the Win, Place and Quartet pools and all three bets are guaranteed to generate inflated payouts because of the added cash, as is the Exacta which has a R50,000 TAB add-in.
To play any of the bets, use the number allocated to each country by TAB (Algeria is 1; Argentina 2; Australia 3 etc). The unit of betting for all four bets is R1 with a minimum bet of R6 and thereafter multiples of R1.
Fractional betting cannot be utilised for the Quartet, which must be taken to the full R1 unit. So to box say four countries in the Quartet will cost R24 (24 combinations @ R1 each). A box bet covers all possible outcomes so if the four countries selected are the semi-finalists, you win regardless of the outcomes of the remaining games.
