You can do This Or That at Fairview

Racing is on the Polytrack at Fairview on Wednesday and there looks to be at least one standout bet on the eight-race card.
It takes a lot of guts to propose that a two-year-old, who has only raced once, although winning with authority will be able to give weight and a beating to a bunch of more experienced older horses.
However, that looks to be the case in Race 5, a MR 66 Handicap for fillies and mares over 1200m, where This Or That lines up for the Alan Greeff yard.
This two-year-old daughter of Real Gone Kid was allowed to go off at 6-1 on debut in a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1200m on the turf at Fairview.
While she failed to find much betting support she could not have been more impressive, romping home by 4.25 lengths with Kyle Strydom aboard – and that was after a low start.
While that was an outstanding performance the form line has worked out extremely well.
Firstly, third-placed Say A Prayer came out to win her next start, beating first-timer Carnival by a head. And to back that up, Carnival came out in her next start to beat Fyfield Legend by 3.25 lengths.
It is clear that This Or That is well above average, and although she does face a tough test against her elders and she will be running on the Polytrack for the first time, she could defy all those odds.
This time Richard Fourie will take the ride in this race which is run around the turn but she is well enough drawn in gate No 3.
