Raaheeb to make winning return in Winter Hill

Trained by Owen Burrows, the Shadwell owned son of Sea The Stars is not only a brother to the illustrious Baaeed but also another Group One star in Hukum, who the Lambourn handler guided to both Coronation Cup and King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes glory.
Raaheeb looked well capable of continuing the family’s rich history when making a winning debut at Ascot last autumn and those vibes only increased when announcing himself as a Classic contender with an impressive winning return at Sandown in April.
Having come out of that race stiff he would subsequently miss both the Derby and Royal Ascot as connections remained patient and that considered approach has been taken again following his encouraging fourth in the Irish Derby in July on just his third career start.
He now drops back to Group Three company where he appears to not only set a clear form standard but is also the highest-rated horse in the race and given any ease underfoot will only help this inexperienced yet talented colt, he is tough to oppose attempting to tee-up bigger days to come.
Another well-related runner on the card looking to make the next step in her career is John and Thady Gosden’s Without Prejudice, who will attempt to follow up a stylish debut at Newmarket in the G J Colario Diamond Fillies’ Novice Stakes.
The daughter of Starman is a half-sister of the training team’s Emily Upjohn, who carried the colours of owner Lord Lloyd Webber to notable success during her time in training.
It was hard not to be impressed by Without Prejudice’s first outing on the July course and the fact she was declared to run in Listed company at York during the Ebor Festival suggests connections are not wanting to hang about enhancing her CV.
This will be much simpler than that scheduled assignment and nothing but a victory will be expected.
Roxa Love saw the form of her Brighton win over Henley On Thames boosted at York recently and George Boughey’s youngster sets the standard in the Free Bets On attheraces.com EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton.

She now drops back in trip and if employing similar tactics, may not be for catching this time.
