FAIRVIEW FIXTURES UPDATE: 25 SEPTEMBER

Gqeberha, South Africa – Further to the communication of 9 September, a number of race meetings programmed for the Polytrack in October, November and December will be moved to the Turf Track. This decision has been made to provide for additional opportunities for Turf racing following the loss of a number of Turf meetings due to ongoing weather challenges..

The changes follow consultation with Fairview Track Management and Senior Management and the decision not to undertake scarification of the grass track this year.

The targeted meetings are:

October

  • 23 October

November

  • 4 November
  • 13 November
  • 20 November

December

  • 11 December
  • 18 December
  • 29 December

Please note: All changes are subject to weather conditions.

Trainers are requested to take note of these changes and look out for the amended programmes once they have been disseminated by the National Racing Bureau (NRB).
