Tim Easterby always tends to make hay at this time of year when the ground turns softer and his Bladey Lady can complete a hat-trick in the Racing Bet-Builder At Spreadex Sports Fillies’ Nursery Handicap at Leicester.
The Great Habton handler is on the cards to post well over 100 winners this season, which will be the seventh time since 2018 – a great effort from all involved at the yard.
Bladey Lady has already contributed her share this season with victories at Newcastle and Thirsk and the way she defied a 4lb rise most recently suggested there is a bit more in the locker.

Michael Dods will have been frustrated not to get a win out of Northern Brave yet this season given he was a five-length winner on just his second start at two.
There are mitigating factors, though. That victory came on heavy ground, which he clearly handled better than the others so the winning margin was extended, and it has also been one of the driest summers on record.
Now there is a bit of ease in the ground and his mark has dropped from 80 to 73, he looks attractively handicapped for the Watch Racing TV Free For 31 Days Handicap at Hamilton.
Veydari heads into the closing weeks of the season a much fresher horse than most ahead of the Heineken Low and No Bar Handicap.
He looks just the type Julie Camacho will do well with but so far the Malton trainer has failed to claim a win with him. Second when last seen back in June, he looks to have been waiting for some softer ground.
Oisin Murphy heads to Ffos Las for seven rides as he bids to erode Billy Loughnane’s lead in the race for the jockeys’ title – and the five-time champion is expected to claim at least couple of winners, kicking off with the Grace Harris-trained Connie’s Rose.
The seven-year-old has been running into form having finished third in her last three races and a 2lb drop in the weights can make all the difference.
Later on the card Murphy partners Rod Millman’s Chepstow runner-up Lucky Radar in the Red Lion Llandyfaelog Novice Stakes.
The well-related gelding was beaten just a head on his debut in Monmouthshire three weeks ago and faced with two rivals with ordinary form and a newcomer, he looks to have been found an excellent opportunity go one better.
Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero are better known for their training of jumpers but they do relatively well in their rare forays on the Flat.
Pigeon Pete outran market expectations when second of 10 at 33-1 at Musselburgh on his debut.
Bred to want further than the seven furlongs he races over in the Free Tips On
